"Burnkane started only as a an experiment in sound design at a boathouse studio in the North East of Scotland. After producing drum and bass for several years under his Beatwife alias, he wanted to produce something new, and that is exactly what he achieved. Having all the time and space he wanted to indulge in audio and alway's being surrounded by inspirational, talented people, the world of Burnkane was born. Playing all kinds of bowed acoustic instruments and live microphone recordings produced through his custom effects, the output is ground breaking inspiration.
