Matt Anderson first came to my attention when I heard an mp3 of his Christina Aguillera mash-up that he had posted on the idm list, which I thought would make a perfect addition to the ZIQ025:Criminal ep (that I was compiling at the time). I just had a flash of intuition that his track would be great. So his debut track ended up on an ep along with established names like Luke Vibert & myself etc. Later that year we met up in London. Matt was over to attend the Warp Lighthouse party and the Planet Mu clan were in town to play a gig the following night. Matt gave me (& Jega & Tetlow) his demo, the first 2 tracks of which now appear unaltered as ZIQ037. He got very drunk on too much red wine that night. I think Matt is a large talent of the future in all sorts of digital arts.
