dDamage - Pressure

Mike Paradinas's Planet Mu label has long been the home of al sorts of aural extremities, from his won delectably twisted work as Mu-Ziq to his recent forays into the more insane reaches of the grime scene. Here, label newcomer dDamage finds himself fitting straight into the fold with four charged tracks of playful, distorted breaks, ranging from the scattershot groove of 'dDistance' to the full-frontal assult of 'Pressure'. Unsurprisingly, the somewhat in-your-face nature of the material on offer won't necessarily appeal to anywhere beyond fans of Planet Mu-style aggrotronica, but for those who like their breaks to be healthily fucked up, dDamage is a welcome addition to the asylum. Released on Planet Mu.
