this was released ages ago? really? no. god, how could we have missed it. well, all the 7"'s i get are all stored in this box and i must have just filed it away as a matter of course. still i'll make amends by commenting on it here, whoever ambulance are, they've an lp coming out on planet mu soon so you can call this review timely. a lot less hectic than what we've normally come to expect from planet mu. both pieces are dark and deceptively creepy. gloomy chords and broken beats allow an easy route in before muffled vocals and increasingly bizarre percussion make their presence felt. sounding familiar and alien in equal measure. the album should be a corker.
